Chelan Mountain Goats Shine at Josh Rhoads Invitational

Boys Results: Ware and Saucedo Take Top Honors

The boys’ side was highlighted by dominant performances in the jumps and distance events. Bryce Ware had a standout day, claiming 1st place in the High Jump (5′ 6″) and finishing as a top-five competitor in both the Long Jump (16′ 8″) and the 400 Meters, where he set a new personal record of 53.85a.

Noah Kanehen was a versatile force for Chelan, winning the 200 Meters (24.59a) and placing 2nd in the Javelin with a throw of 132′ 10.5″. Meanwhile, on the track, Fernando Saucedo outpaced the field in the 3200 Meters, taking 1st place with a personal best time of 11:12.51a.

In the throws, Manny Cazarez led the way, taking 2nd place in the Shot Put with a toss of 40′ 2.5″, while Hextor Herrera followed closely in 3rd.


Girls Results: Galvan and Relay Teams Lead the Charge

The Lady Goats were equally impressive, particularly in the sprints and relays. Josseline Galvan proved her speed by winning the 200 Meters (29.60a) and taking 3rd in a highly competitive 100 Meter dash with a personal best of 13.72a.

Chelanโ€™s relay teams showed incredible chemistry, securing 2nd place finishes in both the 4×100 and 4×200 Relays. Both teams featured the winning combination of:

  • Cali Whiteman
  • Makenzie Culver
  • Reeghan Evans

In the field events, Ashley Hernandez earned 2nd place in the Discus ($82′ 0″$) and 3rd in the Shot Put. Jordyan Hardwick added to the silver medal count with a 2nd place finish in the Javelin, launching a personal best of 93′ 2.5″. Freshman Samantha Ehlert also impressed, jumping 14′ 0″ to take 2nd place in the Long Jump
