The Chelan Goats golf teams turned in a strong all-around performance on Monday, April 20th, hosting the Naches Valley Rangers at Chelan Municipal Golf Course.

Both the boys and girls squads came away with victories, highlighted by consistent scoring and a few memorable milestones along the way.

On the boys side, Chelan secured the win with a team score of 349, edging Naches Valley’s 368. The Goats were led by Carson Clinton, who delivered an outstanding round of 70 to take medalist honors. He was backed by a solid group effort from Connor Draggoo (92), Luca Faletto (93), and Grant Coonrod (94), showcasing the depth of Chelan’s lineup.

The girls team followed suit with a convincing win of their own, posting a 443 to Naches Valley’s 493. Hallie Clinton led the charge with an impressive 85, marking a new personal record and pacing the Goats on the day. Sydney Weston contributed a 108, Quinn Coonrod added a 115, and Sierra Hooten rounded out the scoring with a 135.

There were several highlights for Chelan beyond the team victories. Hallie Clinton’s PR stood out as a major achievement, and Kole Nelson celebrated a milestone of his own with his first career birdie—another sign of growth across the program.

With momentum on their side, the Goats won’t have to wait long to get back on the course. They return to Chelan Municipal today to host the Omak Pioneers, where they will also take time to recognize and celebrate their seniors.
