Goats fall to tough 2A opponent

This evening, the Goats hosted the Othello Huskies. The Huskies compete in the CWAC league, which is a very competitive league. Knowing the Huskies were going to be a solid team, the Goats worked this week on working together as a unit. Unfortunately, the Goats had a slow start to the match and ended up being down 4-0 at halftime.

At halftime, the Goats discussed what needed to be adjusted to change the trajectory of the game. After the halftime talk, the goats came out much stronger and as a more cohesive unit on the pitch. The Huskies were able to find the back of the net one more time. However, the Goats were able to fend off many more solid attacks from the Huskies.

JV

The Junior Varsity Goats competed this evening with a full team for the first time this season. The Goats have continued to improve from the start of the season. During the course of the match, they were able to get a few attacks on the goal. However, with a seasoned Junior Varsity squad for the Huskies, they were able to come out on top this match.

The Varsity will host the Pateros Nannies on Tuesday in another non-conference challenge for the Chelan Goats. Come support your Goats!
