The Chelan Goats volleyball team kept their unbeaten streak alive Thursday night with a dominant 3-0 road win over the Tonasket Tigers. Chelan controlled the match from start to finish, posting set scores of 25-11, 25-18, and 25-16.

Senior hitter Brynn Hughbanks powered the offense with 18 kills and added 5 digs, 2 blocks, and an ace in a well-rounded performance. Marley Williams chipped in 8 kills, 8 digs, a block, and an ace, while Esther Petersen added 4 kills to the Goats’ attack. Brooklyn Foyle ran the offense with precision, dishing out an impressive 32 assists to go with 3 kills, 4 digs, a block, and an ace.

Defensively, Jayzee Hughbanks anchored the back row with 10 digs, while Alison Horner added 6 digs and 2 aces. Gracie Gilsoul tallied an ace, and Faryn Huewe and Grace Roberts contributed at the net with kills of their own.

With the sweep, Chelan remains unbeaten in non-tournament play and now turns its attention to a marquee non-league matchup. The Goats will host former CTL rival Cashmere Bulldogs next week monday in Chelan, a clash between two top-10 programs that promises to be one of the highlights of the season.
