The Chelan Goats soccer team came up just short in a hard-fought league matchup, falling 1-0 to the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions.
In a tightly contested game, both teams battled for control throughout, with Chelan creating opportunities but unable to find the back of the net. The Goats’ defense held strong for much of the match, keeping things within reach, but a single goal proved to be the difference.
Despite the result, Chelan showed grit and competitiveness against a tough Liberty Bell side and will look to bounce back quickly as league play continues.
The Goats hit the road for a busy stretch, traveling to Omak tomorrow before heading to Bridgeport on Saturday as they aim to get back in the win column.
