The Chelan Goats softball team left no doubt on their home field, clinching their second consecutive CTL Championship in dominant fashion with a 20-0 victory over the Cascade Kodiaks.
The Goats’ offense was firing on all cylinders from the first pitch, piling up runs behind a relentless and disciplined approach at the plate. Henly Gardner set the tone, reaching base in every plate appearance, going 1-for-1 with three walks. Olivia Mack had a perfect day, going 5-for-5 with three RBIs, while Grace Roberts delivered a strong performance, finishing 3-for-4 with three RBIs of her own.
Denali Corrigan drove in four runs to lead the team, and Faryn Huewe delivered one of the biggest swings of the day with a bases-clearing triple, adding three RBIs. Jayden Simmons contributed with a 2-for-3 outing, and Jayci Simmons added a hit and a walk as the lineup produced up and down the order.
With the win, Chelan not only secured back-to-back CTL titles but also punched their ticket to the District 5 tournament, continuing what has been an impressive and consistent season.
The Goats will look to carry that momentum into their final CTL games of the season as they travel to Omak on Tuesday for a doubleheader to close out league play.
