Big Chelan GOAT shout-out to Nicholas “Gage” Schmidt — CHS Class of 2009 — who was just inducted into the University of Providence Hall of Fame as a member of their historic 2014 Men’s Wrestling Team!

Nicholas built his foundation right here in Chelan — where he placed 4th at the WIAA State Tournament in 2008 and came back even stronger to place 2nd in 2009 at 140 lbs.

That work and discipline carried to college — and the results followed.
At the University of Providence, he helped lead the Argos to a 2nd place finish at the 2014 NAIA National Championships — the highest finish in program history.

Now those accomplishments are officially enshrined in their Hall of Fame.

Congrats Gage! Once a Goat always a Goat!!
